Viktor Schneider
Programmer and infrastructure administrator. Automation and AI.
I build and run IT infrastructure – from the hardware in the data centre to the services on top of it. My days are spent in mixed Windows and Linux environments: racking servers, planning networks, keeping systems alive.
Programming came first and never went away. It shows in how I approach infrastructure: anything done twice by hand gets automated the third time.
What I am working on
- InfrastructureWindows and Linux servers, networking, hardware in the data centre
- AutomationMy own n8n workflows, with AI models making the decisions
- AIRunning and testing language models on hardware I own
- ConsultingHelping companies with automation and AI
Projects
itorwhat.com
My shop for T-shirts and other items, produced print on demand.
This server
Nextcloud, GitLab, n8n and a vector database on a machine I set up and maintain myself. Bare metal behind nginx – no panel, no managed hosting.
Automated server operations
n8n watches my server, installs updates and runs the Minecraft server. Wired up to a Telegram bot: alerts and commands live in a chat instead of an SSH session.
AI in house
Language models run locally here, not through third-party APIs. Everyday use decides what is worth keeping – not the spec sheet.
Working together
I advise companies on automation and AI – from a first honest assessment of what is worth doing to a running solution.
